Slovak Fulbright Alumni Association
Since 1994 the Fulbright Program in the Slovak Republic enabled over 240 Slovaks to study, teach or conduct research in the United States on Fulbright or other awards administered by the Fulbright Commission. Fulbright Association
The Fulbright Association, www.fulbright.org, is the private, nonprofit membership organization of Fulbright Program alumni and friends. The Association is dedicated to promoting the flagship program for international educational and cultural exchange, enriching the experiences of visiting Fulbright students, teachers, and scholars, and fostering a global network of Fulbright alumni.
The Fulbright Association works to ensure that U.S. government funding for the premier program of international educational and cultural exchanges will continue so that future generations of students, teachers, and scholars can participate. The Association supports a system of 46 chapters which offer educational, cultural, and social programs for alumni and hospitality and enrichment for visiting Fulbrighters.
The Association also publishes a newsletter which contains alumni and chapter news and information on Fulbright exchanges. Through your participation in the Fulbright Association, you can continue to make significant contributions towards achieving the Fulbright ideal of increased mutual understanding among the nations of the world. State Alumni Directory
State Alumni Directory is a dynamic and interactive networking tool for all past and current participants of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs, where the Fulbright Program belongs as well. The directory enables to be in the network with thousands of alumni from diverse exchange programs representing all regions of the world, to find career enhancing information to find grant and job opportunities, and more.
