Gerald Groshek
Gerald Groshek is Professor of International Economics and Business at the University of Redlands, School of Business.
Professor Groshek has been at Redlands for 23 years and regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in
international economics, business, and strategy. His areas of research interest include foreign exchange markets,
international economic coordination, foreign direct investment, and economic transition. In a current research effort,
he explores the effect of national government agencies on global perceptions of country image and reputation. Prior
to joining the University of Redlands, Professor Groshek taught at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
In 2003-04, he received a Fulbright Scholar fellowship followed by 3 Fulbright Specialist grants in 2008, 2010, and 2015.
Professor Groshek is a frequent visitor at various foreign institutions including the University of Economics in Bratislava,
Slovakia; XIME in Bangalore, India; Novancia in Paris, France, and the Kyiv National Economic University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In Fall 2018, he was a visiting professor at the University of Macerata in Macerata, Italy. Professor Groshek has received
a Fulbright Scholar fellowship that will take him to Slovakia to work with Slovak and Ukrainian students and faculty.
